My absolute favorite place- my boyfriend and I get takeout admittedly too often from here- it's that good! We get the chicken or vegetable fried rice- delicious! I would recommend it to anyone- and I do! My only complaint is that I wish they would have a frequent customer/points card.

We just went to celebrate some birthdays and took up an entire hibatchi table. I have to say from the service to the food - everything was beyond perfect! Clean, tasty. and friendly. The waitress was quick to pick up any little scrap of rubbish and the drink orders were brought out in a timely fashion. All of our food was cooked perfectly to order and the show, while very typical for hibatchi (I think there is one universal routine...LOLOL), was fun and well done. Overall - you get just what you expect, for a decent price, with very good service. Worth a go in my opinion!

Great food, big portions and very nice atmosphere. The HibachiChef puts on an amazing show. Great date night will recommend and visit again.

Good stuff, reasonable prices - we went on a Friday night which is typically a busy time for all but the worst of places. Will go back....

Me and the family really enjoy the hibachi food here. Everything from the steak, filet, shrimp, chicken, rice, soup and salad are great tasting as the portions are in line with the pricing. The only downfall is the service. Don't get me wrong they are very attentive and quick to bring refills, but they just have no personality. Not friendly, not rude, just like robots is the easiest way to explain it. When I'm in the mood for a great meal and (show?) I never hesitate to come here.

I've driven by this restaurant many tmes but never stopped. My cousin had been there and suggested we go for a hibachi dinner. When we told the hostess we wanted hibachi she escorted us past the sushi bar to a room with hibachi tables. Only one table was occupied. My cousin, husband, and I were seated at a big table with a grill in the middle. My cousin ordered steak and shrimp, my husband ordered steak, and I ordered shrimp. Our entrees came with a clear soup with mushrooms, salad with ginger dressing, two dipping sauces. shrimp appetizer, hibachi vegetables and white rice. The service was very good. The soups and salads came out quickly. As soon as we finished that the hibachi chef came over and cooked our food. Our drinks were refilled without our asking. Everyone went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. I thought the food was very good. The soup and salad tasted like soup and salad at another hibachi restaurant. We each got two shrimp as an appetizer. My shrimp entrée consisted of fourteen medium size shrimp. They were delicious. My dinner with the soup, salad, shrimp, rice, and hibachi vegetables was $18.95. I think that was a good price for all that food. My husband and cousin enjoyed their steaks. The restaurant was very attractive, there was plenty of parking, the service was great, and we enjoyed the food. I'm so happy we found this place. We usually drive from Boca Raton to Coral Springs for hibachi. It's nice to be able to go closer to home.

Very terrible customer service. Two different waiters asked for a tip before I even sat down and one wait or stood over me while I was counting my money to make sure I left a tip. Very rude and disrespectful, but great food

Most of the staff here seemed a bit curt, and they waited about 20 minutes until another group was sat, had their starters and finished before bringing out the chef. We had finished our salads and were just sitting there waiting. The soup and salad was pretty poor, salty soup and watered down dressing. Our chef when he finally came out was either hungover or sick- and excused himself twice with coughing fits. I was then paranoid we were going to get sick, even though I will give him that he was trying hard to avoid the food. Thankfully, we didnt get sick. The place is also expensive, but they do give a lot more in terms of quantity as opposed to other places like this. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Saito's is a chain restaurant with about 6 different locations in South Florida. Though a small chain, it feels chainy in that it has that chainy feeling about it, and when at Saito's one can hardly not think of it as a little more than a gimmicky knock off of the bigger more formidable Benihana chain of Japanese restaurants. This location is the second location I've been to which is identical to the first location I visited, but this one even left me less impressed. First off, it's February and the place is still dripping with cheap Christmas decorative icicle lighting though I understand it to be a year around thing with Saito's. Since I ate Hibachi meat at my Saito's other location, I thought I would go for their Hibachi Scallops at this location. Unfortunately I ended up being as equally unimpressed with their scallops as I was with their meat. My meal came with a miso shuri soup which, though rather tasty, unworthy of any particular note. The house salad which came with the meal was, on the other hand, a complete joke. Nothing but a bunch of chopped up iceberg lettuce with one, mind no more than one little tiny shred of julienned red cabbage (must have fallen in by mistake...it looked so lonely all by itself) with a big plop of dressing tossed on top. As far as for salad, I've seen better served in public high school cafeterias. My entrée of Hibachi Scallops didn't amount to much either. They had a glaze sauce, but they will never be able to convince me that any of those scallops ever came anywhere near a hibachi except maybe in a wok over the heat of one since none had the slightest hint of searing. To me, the sweet flavoring of the sauce worked more to hide the flavor the scallop than enhance it and worse, it was so similar to my side of vegetable and so overwhelming that the only way I could tell my vegetable from my scallop was by visual observation or texture, not by taste. Though I have no way of knowing, the sauces and dips seemed to be about as uncommercial as was the two table top bottles of Kikkoman soy, having little in taste that would in any way catch your attention as being special. Besides the food, dips and sauces there were two other things I found disturbing about Saito's. First was that that they had a flat screen going in the dining area with a basketball game being broadcast, and thought the volume was off, this place is supposed to be a restaurant, not a sports bar. The other was the aggressiveness of the wait staff. I'm sure they meant thought they didn't do well, trying to grab your plates before you've finished and best of all grabbing my check and money before I had finished paying. When the bill arrived I pulled out my wallet, put a twenty on top of the check but before I could put the second twenty down she grabbed the check plate with only the first twenty. Then, of course she returned telling me, in a rather disturbed babbling manner telling me I had not paid her enough until I pointed out the rest of the money there on the table. For Japanese restaurants, I've had better food and dining atmosphere elsewhere, a lot better, including Japanese buffets.

I come here for hibachi. This review is for hibachi only. Not the sushi restaurant side. There are 2 hibachi chefs that are excellent. They get my food allergies and cook it well and right. There is one Asian man sever who is AMAZING. He has glasses. He's so sweet, attentive and when we get him I know it's a great experience. The food is fresh, cooked well and as far as west boca it's the better hibachi choice for sure! We went last night and it was packed with parties and people and we still got good service and didn't have a wait. Thanks we will be back.

Hibachi! Skilled chefs, cutting, chopping, entertaining and serving; it is one of my favorite types of meals and Saito does a very good job at it. I ordered the chicken hibachi with fried rice, which was extra. The fact that fried rice was a bit more money kinda annoys me, since at most hibachi places that I have eaten at it is included. Regardless, the vegetables, chicken and fried rice were delicious. The price point, even for lunch is average, but once you add in drink, the fried rice, and tip you are looking at about $15 for a hibachi meal. They did have other options such as noodle and rice dishes which were cheaper, so check this place out if you want things other than hibachi. Also another factor is the ambiance, and this place is absolutely beautiful. If you want to take your out of town friends and impress them with tasty Japanese food, I would recommend this place.

Very upset after our dinner at Saito's in Boca Raton. It was my girlfriend's birthday and she wanted hibachi so I took her and her children here. I called to make a reservation and requested something special be done to celebrate her birthday. I emphasized to the manager on the phone that it was to be a surprise and he was very dismissive. When I tried to give him my girlfriend's name, he hung up. Upon arriving at Saito's, after giving the same manager my name, a server standing next to him said out loud, "the birthday table." So much for the surprise. Then after all the food was served and we ate, the check came. No mention of her birthday, no dessert, nothing. As I was walking out I asked the same manager if they even do a birthday celebration. They said they did. I told about how I called earlier and even how they spoiled the surprise when we arrived. When I called to complain the manager was very apologetic and told me he would make it up to us when we return. I hope to update this post in the near future with a positive review

First time visit with my spouse. Our waiter had a "cardboard cutout" of a personality. Food arrived cold. Waiter never came to our table to ask how our meal was. We would have appreciated the bare minimum of drink refills but that never happened either. The salad dressing is the only reason we rate this restaurant a 1 star.

My family and I love to come here for special celebrations just for the show and fun of watching the hibachi. I recommend the filet mignon and shrimp combo. It's always delicious. The chicken, steak, and calamari are also acceptable. Loved so many of the mixed drinks here too, they are tasty and creative. Staff here is friendly and they put on a good show. A lot less busy at this one than the one in the promenade just down the road.

Saito is my favorite hibachi, but I like the one in Boynton also. I like the ambiance in Boynton, but the food is plentiful and cooked well in Boca. Love love love.

Have been here several times. The suishi is very good, the drinks are generous and the hibachi is fun. Bit overpriced - especially the hibachi. but all and all a good time.

Hibachi food was good. What I really wanted was an entertaining chef, not here. The chef didn't say a word the whole time. Good thing he didn't come around the table asking for tips like they usually do. It was a sunday night so maybe the funny chefs work on busy night, idk. I just feel that the priceyness is ok as part of a whole package, good food AND entertainment.
